David had graded to Yellow belt on 14th June 2010

On 14th April Dave O'Leary was awarded his yellow belt by Chief Instructor John Robertson.
Dave has been a member of the Bognor Club since January 2007 and has regularly made the trip over to Bognor from his home town of Portsmouth to train. Unfortunately due to work commitments he has had to move away from the area and won't be within traveling distance of the club anymore. His regular attendance and commitment to training has been obvious and he will be missed at the Club.

On 23rd July Matthew and Esme both successfully graded to yellow belt.

The Club membership fees for 2007/08 are due in September. Due to a doubling of the member to member mat insurance fee and a general increase in insurance premiums in general, the new membership fee for all grades from yellow belt and above will increase to £10 (from £7).

For white belts it will increase to £3 (from £1.50) to cover the mat insurance and this will be deducted from  the overall membership fee, due when members grade to yellow belt.

We have been lucky up to now and this is the first increase in the membership fees for some years, as we have been able to cover the increases before.

A letter will be sent out soon to all Club members.

Bognor Regis Zen Judo Club

To try and make the Bognor Zen Judo Club website more webmaster friendly and easier to update, I have moved the content over from the old static html site to this database driven one.
