Tuesday 05 | 05 | 2020 Hoping that at some point we will be able to open the Club again for some sort of training, this might not be full contact Judo for a while until we have a vaccine for Covid-19. But it might be possible for a few of us to practice sword using a bokken or similar to at least keep some level of fitness, what do members think? Friday 01 | 05 | 2020 The Government is now starting to look at how we get out of the Covid-19 lock down and get businesses open again. It looks like it will be at least a few months before the Club can reopen and we can get back to Judo training. Monday 23 | 03 | 2020 Well that is it then in to the unknown, the Judo Club has had to close down for now as the Governments Covid-19 lock down has come into force. I wonder if and when we will be back and training.

To which my reply is that you never know how many times you weren't attacked because you were self confident / self assured / aware of your surroundings. So you 'use' your skills every day. Sensei Jim Dart 6th Dan (Kenshindoryu Nippon Budo Kyokai)
“ The black belt is not a mark or symbol of the end of the journey to ones mastery of the arts; rather it is the mark that one is done packing for the journey and may now take the first step in their true journey. This is a journey which can not ever be complete, only travelled ….”
